Warranty

Warranty Policy

Our eyewear frames and sunglasses are covered by a 1 year warranty on manufacturing defects. The 1 year period starts from the date the product is delivered.

What Is Covered

Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Scratched, shattered, fractured, or otherwise damaged or crazed lenses.
  • Accidental damage
  • Normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear includes cosmetic scratching, fading of coatings through regular use, and gradual loosening of moving components over time.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, excessive force, intentional bending, pressure breaks, or exposure to excessive heat.
  • Damage caused by water, chemicals, or other environmental factors.

Warranty Assessment

If you believe your product has a manufacturing fault, email contact@sentienteyes.com with photos and proof of purchase. We will assess your claim as quickly as possible and keep you informed throughout the process.

Where a warranty claim is approved, we will, at our discretion, replace it with the same model, or provide a comparable alternative if the original product is no longer available.

Product Care and Maintenance

To help maximise the life of your eyewear:

  • Store your glasses in their protective case when not in use.
  • Avoid dropping or placing excessive pressure on the frame.
  • Keep your eyewear away from water, chemicals, and harsh cleaning agents.
  • Do not leave your eyewear in high-temperature environments, such as a parked vehicle, where temperatures may exceed 50°C.
  • Check and tighten temple screws

Failure to follow these care instructions may affect your warranty.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits provided by this warranty are in addition to, and do not limit, your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.
